Getting on the Glam Train!

Some of the most proverbial retail chains have recently “gotten on the glam train”. They are now providing their customers with more glitzy and attention grabbing furniture pieces, while still keeping their collections affordable and accessible to the general public.

Our top three major household names and the fabulous pieces (and prices) that we can’t get enough of:
IKEA:

IKEA Stockholm- $1190

Expedit- $69.99
Hemnes- $129

Hemnes- $299 (paint it white for a new look!)
IKEA Stockholm $14.99

Trollsta- $349

TARGET:
Crystal Table Lamp- $149

Round Mosaic Wall Mirror- $59.99

Seville Tufted Headboard- $299-409

Baina Accent Table- $249
Eileen Gray Table- $199

Amandine Microfiber Chairs (set of 2) $750 I'm not crazy about the microfiber, but imagine how good these would look in a velvet!

Cinema Side Table- $329.99
Canary Print Armless Chair- Blue $299.99

Venetian Mirror Table- $109.99

Those are lovely finds! Nothing better than a knock-off!

You gals have always inspired me- now I finally have my own blog running. It's all about making cheap things look nice:

Gosh, what a relief, Spring fresh forward...fantastic!

As an interior designer myself, I find it so exciting that we are making great strides, that all styles, of design can co-exist.

Such exciting snaps Thanks!

Great finds! The sofa and Expedit coffee table from IKEA are great. The Seville headboard and Baina table from Target are so lovely! I just wish I could see them in person. I wonder if they will at least carry the table in stores.
