New York Fashion Week showed that Tartan was the new fall fabric. It is everywhere from skirts, coats, and dresses, to pillows, bedding, and throws! For some, it might bring back bad memories of those years and years of wearing private school uniforms (I can definitely relate to that!) but dress code regulations aside, this plaid infused fabric is what will be everywhere this winter.
Most people have never even heard the word Tartan- plaid is all they've ever known. A little history on this fabric: it was born in the Scottish highlands, revived in the 70's by British punks, and is now everywhere on the fashion front! This fabric really never goes out of style- it keeps coming back- like it or not!
