Brocade Home

I've eagerly been anticipating the new redesigned website for Brocade Home. Quite some time has passed and I've yet to receive a current catalog nor access to their website. After continually checking back, it's still noted that they are undergoing a redesign for their website. Fortunately, I've discovered they've created a blog. It features some posts on architecture and fashion. Looking forward to seeing the new website!

I read somewhere that they shut down entirely...Are we sure this brocade website is related to the defunct furniture company (which I loved btw).

brocade home is back online and i have to say, after several weeks of frustration, i had the most helpful cs person. after some research, here's the story...brocade home was originally owned by restoration hardware, but the brand was created by a woman named lisa versacio. restoration hardware was bought by an investment company a few months back and they only wanted to keep the core restoration hardware business. after a few months of disappearing, brocade home is back online and under new management. unfortunately, they are not able to actually rectify my order, which i placed back in july as the order was technically placed with restoration hardware. they did, however, return my call (i had been trying to reach someone for about 2 months now, but restoration hardware was not answering any calls) and a lovely girl named kelley apologized profusely for all of my inconvenience and took my order information and is passing on to restoration hardware (the only reason i know that it's restoration hardware is that i did some research and found that they were the former owners of brocade--the new cs woman however, just referred to them as the "former owners"). she said that they would do their very best to help facilitate some resolution, and were sorry they were not able to resolve themselves. although my issue is still not resolved, at least they had the decency to return my call (they just went back online this week) ...i would suggest that if you have not been able to resolve your old bh order issues to call the brocade number--you will at least receive a phone call back...hope this helps....coco

Shop at Brocade at your own peril. They dropped the ball and required folks who purchased at their fire sale before the temporarily closed the site jump through thousands of tiny hoops to (1) ask that their goods actually be you know, shipped (2) ask for a refund after calling again and finding out they nothing would actually ship and (3) not giving refunds after promising to give refunds.

Restoration Hardware is running on a wing and a prayer, and their disgusting behavior towards their customers who purchased just before Brocade Home temporarily shut down should be a lesson that they won't honor any of the promises on their website if profit comes first (shipping w/in a week? customer service on the phone? returns?). Just try giving their customer service phone line a call before you order. I think the answering machine that picks up should be evidence enough that you'd be best to look elsewhere.

I know a number of people who ordered items that are, today, for sale on the site who were told that they couldn't possibly be shipped because their warehouse was out of stock. Their behavior violates just about every consumer protection law on the books, and it's a shame that folks are delighted that the site's back up without having any clue about how scummy Restoration Hardware and Brocade Home are.

@coco - regardless of how nice the person was that you talked to, there's zero reason to trust this brand or anything Restoration Hardware does again. What a scam.
