Hamptons Getaway

This home in the Hamptons is designed by Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz and was featured in Veranda magazine. Many of the rooms I enjoy seeing as there are some refreshingly new ideas, finally something a bit different - especially of a traditional Hampton home (which are all very beautiful too). While the project retains it's very "high end" look it also mixes in furnishings from some very accessible sources (which I've highlighted).
The living room with Noriega-Ortiz designed loveseats, back-to-back Room & Board sofas and daybed, Wisteria lamps.

The entry is stunning! Royale sheers, chandelier by Noriega-Ortiz, Country Swedish chair, Stone Yard table.

The dining room done in a saffron color with Crate & Barrel chairs upholstered in a Larsen fabric. The sideboard is from Room & Board.

The kitchen with plexi-craft barstools at the counter and Noriega-Ortiz designed the curtain of beads as a chandelier around the stove hood!

The kitchen eating area is a custom banquette which runs the length of the room. The tables are of black metal bases and plexi-craft white acrylic tops with Room & Board chairs.

The master bedroom.

The porch steps extend the length of the 40-foot pool.

The chaises are from West Elm with Sunbrella fabric.

What a great mix! Not crazy about the master bedroom (a bit too Las Vegas for my taste) but a gorgeous house, overall, with practical overtones. I'll have to revisit R&B - haven't liked the quality of their workmanship in the past but maybe they've improved...

As always, thanks for a great blog entry!

Great house...the white bedroom with the tufted headboard is the best!
